It’s safe to say, Little Red Riding Hood, a Panto presented by the Tipling Stage Company, written and directed by Bev Nicholas performed throughout the weekend of November 27th–29th, was a resounding success during a couple hours of sheer entertainment.
The costumes were so fun to see, the humor was delightful, the singing fabulous and the very nature of the Panto, that being audience interactive participation was such an incredible and engaging experience of fun for all ages, and this performance will not easily be forgotten.
Bev Nicholas commented, “One of the highlights for us happened during one of the performances occurred when the skunk characters were asking the audience where the fox had gone. The audience was shouting and of course, the skunks kept asking them repeatedly, in the spirit of a Panto and audience participation. Finally one little fellow ran up onto the stage and pointed in the direction! It was fabulous! It was truly great and of course we actually enjoyed that tremendously.”
The only tragedy to report is that Shelburnites will have to wait until the end of March 2015 to attend Tipling Stage Company’s next performance at Grace Tipling Hall,‘But Why Bump Off Barnaby’, Written by Rick Abbot and Directed by Jean Jardine Miller.
